A mother and a baby camel were lying around, and suddenly the baby camel asked,?Mother, may I ask you some questions?"

Mother: "Sure! Why son, is there something bothering you?"

Baby: "Why do camels have humps??

Mother: "Well son, we are desert animals, we need the humps to store water and we are known to survive without water?.

Baby: "Okay, then why are our legs long and our feet rounded??

Mother: "Son, obviously they are meant for walking in the desert. You know with these legs I can move around the desert better than anyone does!?

Baby: "Okay, then why are our eyelashes long? Sometimes it bothers my sight?.

Mother with pride: "My son, those long thick eyelashes are your protective cover. They help to protect your eyes from the desert sand and wind?.

After some thinking baby camel said, "I see. So the hump is to store water when we are in the desert, the legs are for walking through the desert and these eye lashes protect my eyes from the desert then what in God's name we are doing here in the Zoo?"

Skills, Knowledge, Abilities and Experiences are only useful if you are at the right place, interacting with the right people. We are stuck to our routines as a machine. At a game of poker, your odds of winning are higher if you have developed a knack of switching the tables at right time.

Everyone is created with a special purpose. But in the process of growing up we forget the purpose. In the childhood we knew our purpose.... and that was to "Stay Happy"...and most of us were certain how to achieve it. But today?..........

We spend days making long business plans, developing strategies, goal settings, etc. Do we ever give a day to apply the same exercise for our lives....!!??

Make a list:

(1) Identify your innate Skills and Abilities (Answer lies in your childhood)...

(2) and identify your knowledge and Experiences (more as a person, not as a professional)...

(3) Then visualize what kind of person you want to be 5 years from now.

(4) What kind of Life you want...

(5) What will be your true measure of happiness? (spouse, kids, professional achievements, skill enhancement)

Then see if your current path leads to pinnacle in all above ? If not, take a leap of faith.

Remember, "Life is an individual's journey. It is not meant to be benchmarked against friends, peers, colleagues. Decide your own course"....And choose a best one !

Step out of the Zoo...and have a happy journey !
