Job Description

  1. Post arrival / pre departure formalities with documentation
  2. Structuring of assignments, including reviewing employment contracts from a tax perspective
  3. Assistance with formulating and implementing tax equalization policies, including monitoring the tax equalization processes
  4. Evaluation of treaties to examine taxability and availability of tax treaty relief
  5. Assistance in setting up tax withholding processes including running of tax withholding calculations and filing of related returns
  6. Maintaining shadow payroll in India for tax withholding for expatriates
  7. Preparation and filing of employees tax returns
  8. Representation services where tax returns are selected for audit, etc.
  9. Employees stock plans formulating and advising on tax impact, tax compliance

The tasks, roles and responsibilities concerned with the job will include the following

  • End to end execution of client deliverable ensuring quality and timeliness
  • Filing of tax returns for clients
  • Dealing with tax officials
  • Preparing and reviewing reports
  • Client relationship management Coaching/ developing junior members    

Essential Skills

  • Thorough technical knowledge on Tax
  • Excel, presentation and report writing skills are extremely important
